Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
You will be transferred to your hotel or houseboat upon arrival at Srinagar Airport. Once checked in, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake, a peaceful experience where you can admire floating gardens and unique markets. You'll witness the traditional way of life as you glide through the serene water. In the evening, stroll along Boulevard Road with picturesque views of the Zabarwan mountain range. Overnight stay at your hotel/houseboat.
Day 2: Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast, depart for Gulmarg, known for its breathtaking beauty. The drive is scenic and takes around 2 hours. Once you arrive, check-in at your hotel and take the opportunity to enjoy some of the various activities Gulmarg offers. You can opt for a Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak (at your own cost), where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. For adventure enthusiasts, Gulmarg offers seasonal activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and sledding. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, walk through the meadows or visit the local golf course. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful dinner and overnight stay in Gulmarg.
Day 3: Gulmarg to Pahalgam
Post breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pahalgam (approx. 4–5 hours). On your way, you'll pass through lush saffron fields and visit the Avantipura Ruins, a historic site. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check-in at your hotel. Explore the picturesque Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari, which are known for their spectacular landscapes. You can enjoy optional activities like pony rides (at additional cost) or relax by the Lidder River. In the evening, visit the local markets and shop for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 4: Pahalgam to Sonmarg
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Sonmarg, known as the "Meadow of Gold." Pristine glaciers and alpine meadows surround this beautiful area. Take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier, where you can enjoy stunning views of snow-capped mountains. Depending on the season, enjoy snow activities like snowball fights and skiing. After spending some time in the meadows, drive back to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check-in for your overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 5: Leisure Day in Srinagar
You are free to explore Srinagar on this day. You can visit Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, two of Srinagar's most famous Mughal gardens, each offering a unique experience. If you want to experience the culture of Kashmir, visit the Hazratbal Shrine or the Jamia Masjid, which showcase the region's rich history and architecture. Alternatively, you can shop for Pashmina shawls, carpets, and other handicrafts at the local markets. For those who haven't had enough of the beauty of Dal Lake, you can opt for another Shikara ride. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 6: Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to the Srinagar Airport for your return journey. Bring wonderful memories of Kashmir's incredible landscapes, rich culture, and warm hospitality.
