DAY 1: Paro Arrival – Thimphu (Approx. 50 km) 1.5–2 Hrs | Dinner
Arrive at Paro International Airport, one of the world’s most spectacular mountain airports. Meet and greet by our representative before beginning your scenic journey to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. En route, visit Chuzom, the confluence of two rivers, and admire its traditional shrines, which represent different architectural styles. Continue to Tamchog Lhakhang, an ancient temple known for its traditional iron-chain bridge. Upon arrival in Thimphu, visit Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang), home to the impressive Buddha statue overlooking the Thimphu Valley. Continue to Tashichho Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most important fortress-monasteries and a major center of government and religious administration. Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

DAY 2: Thimphu Sightseeing | Breakfast & Dinner.
After Breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Thimphu. Visit the Durga/Shiv Temple, followed by Buddha Point and Coronation Park, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding valley. Continue to the Takin Zoo, home to Bhutan’s unique national animal, the takin. Visit the Memorial Chorten, an important religious landmark where locals gather daily for prayer. Later, explore Thimphu Dzong and visit Simply Bhutan, a living museum showcasing Bhutanese traditions, culture, crafts, traditional costumes, and archery. Note: Simply Bhutan is closed on Tuesdays. Return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

DAY 3: Thimphu – Punakha 75 Kms | Approx. 3 Hrs | Breakfast & Dinner.
After Breakfast, check out and drive towards Punakha, one of Bhutan’s most scenic valleys. En route, stop at Simtokha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s oldest fortresses. Continue to the spectacular Dochula Pass, situated at approximately 3,100 meters above sea level. On a clear day, enjoy panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayan mountains. The pass is also famous for its 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. Continue downhill towards the warmer Punakha Valley and visit Chhimi Lhakhang, popularly known as the Fertility Temple. Later, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, dramatically located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Continue to the colorful Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of Bhutan’s most famous bridges. Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Punakha.

DAY 4: Punakha Sightseeing | Breakfast & Dinner
After Breakfast, proceed for a scenic excursion in the Punakha Valley. Hike through the beautiful countryside towards Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a spectacular hilltop temple offering panoramic views of the surrounding valley and rice fields. Later, visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery, a peaceful hilltop Buddhist nunnery overlooking the Punakha and Wangdue valleys. Experience Bhutan’s spiritual atmosphere and traditional Buddhist way of life. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Punakha.

DAY 5: Punakha – Paro 125 km | Approx. 4–5 Hrs | Breakfast & Dinner
After Breakfast, check out and drive towards Paro, one of Bhutan’s most picturesque valleys. Upon arrival, visit the National Museum of Bhutan (Ta Dzong), a historic watchtower that houses a fascinating collection of Bhutanese art, artifacts, and cultural treasures. Continue to Rinpung Dzong, an impressive fortress-monastery dating back to the 17th century. Cross the traditional Nya Mey Zam Bridge and enjoy a leisurely walk through Paro Town. Check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Paro.

DAY 6: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Monastery Excursion | Breakfast & Dinner.
After Breakfast, prepare for the highlight of your Bhutan holiday package — a hike to the legendary Taktsang Monastery, popularly known as Tiger’s Nest. Perched dramatically on a cliff approximately 900 meters above the Paro Valley, Tiger’s Nest is one of Bhutan’s most iconic landmarks and an important Buddhist pilgrimage site. The uphill hike generally takes around 2–3 hours, depending on fitness and pace. Enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and forests along the trail. An optional horse ride to the viewpoint is available at an additional cost. After the excursion, return to Paro and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Paro.

DAY 7: Paro Departure. | Breakfast
After Breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight. Depart Bhutan with unforgettable memories of the Land of the Thunder Dragon. End of the 7D6N Bhutan Tour Package.
