5D4N Nilgiris Trekking Package
Day 01 – Arrival at Ooty(No meal)
Upon arrival at Coimbatore Airport, you will be greeted and driven to Ooty, located approximately 85 km away, taking about 3 hours by road. After checking in at your hotel, feel free to relax. In the evening, take a stroll around Ooty Lake and visit the Botanical Garden. Overnight stay will be in Ooty.
Day 02 – Ooty Trek (Dodabetta Peak)(B)
Enjoy breakfast before starting your trek to Dodabetta Peak, the highest peak in the Nilgiris at 2,637 meters above sea level. This trek will last around 2–3 hours and provides breathtaking panoramic views of Ooty town and the surrounding valleys. In the afternoon, explore the Tea Museum & Factory, followed by some leisure time for shopping at Charring Cross and the Tibetan Market. Overnight stay will be in Ooty.
Day 03 – Avalanche Lake & Upper Bhavani Trek(B)
On this day, drive from Ooty to Avalanche Lake, located about 28 km away, taking roughly 1 hour. Enjoy a 4–5 hour trek through dense forests, lush green meadows, small streams, and stunning waterfalls, with a picnic lunch by the lake. Return to Ooty in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 04 – Kotagiri & Kodanad View Point Treks(B)
After breakfast, depart for Kotagiri, approximately 30 km away from Ooty, which takes about 1 hour. Start your scenic 3–4 hour trek through tea plantations, leading to the Catherine Falls Viewpoint. In the afternoon, enjoy a leisurely walk through Kotagiri town, and then drive to Kodanad View Point, about 18 km away (approximately 45 minutes). Here, experience a 5-hour-long trek that offers spectacular panoramic views of valleys and cliffs. Return to Ooty by evening for an overnight stay.
Day 05 – Departure from Ooty(B)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Coimbatore (85 km / 3 hrs) to catch your flight or train for your onward journey.
