Route: Chennai → Tirupati → Ooty → Coonoor → Mudumalai → Trichy
Day 1: Chennai → Tirupati (Approx. 140 km / 3.5 hrs)
Arrive in Chennai and proceed directly to Tirupati by road. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and visit the sacred Sri Venkateswara Temple at Tirumala. Spend the evening relaxing or exploring nearby viewpoints.Overnight in Tirupati
Day 2: Tirupati → Ooty (Approx. 420 km / 8 hrs)
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Ooty, often referred to as the “Queen of Hills.” The journey will take you through beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check into a cozy resort nestled in nature, where you can unwind with a stroll in local markets or surrounding garden resorts, and enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner at the resort. Overnight accommodation will be in Ooty.
Day 3: Ooty – Nilgiri Mountain Railway Toy Train to Coonoor
Following breakfast, you will board the charming Nilgiri Toy Train from Ooty to Coonoor(TICKET PRICE HAS BEEN INCLUDED)This UNESCO-listed heritage train ride will take you through tunnels, forests, and tea plantations. You will visit Sim’s Park, Dolphin’s Nose, and Lamb’s Rock, which is perfect for couples' photos. Later, you will check in at a tea estate in Coonoor for a serene honeymoon experience and spend the night there.
Day 4: Coonoor’s Serene Landscapes & Tea Trails
You will wake up to the sound of birds and misty tea hills. A leisurely walk through tea gardens awaits you, along with a visit to a tea factory for tasting sessions. Optional activities include a picnic, spa treatment, or a private bonfire night, allowing you to truly unplug and reconnect with nature. Overnight accommodations will be in Coonoor.
Day 5: Mudumalai Wildlife Safari → Drive to Trichy (Approx. 280 km / 6–7 hrs)
After an early check-out, you will proceed to Mudumalai Tiger Reserve for an exhilarating jeep safari (at your own expense) through the forest. Expect to see possible wildlife sightings such as elephants, bison, peacocks, and deer. Following the safari, you will head to Trichy, where you will have the evening at leisure or visit the Srirangam Temple if time permits. You will spend the night in Trichy.
Day 6: Trichy Local Sightseeing & Departure
On your final day, you will visit the iconic Rockfort Temple and Uchipillayar Temple. You will have time for local shopping or to enjoy a delicious South Indian breakfast before being dropped off at Trichy Airport for your departure.
