Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (230 kms/6-7hrs)
Arrival at Delhi Airport or Delhi Railway Station. Meet and assist, followed by a drive to Haridwar. Transfer to your hotel. If time permits, we can visit the Mansadevi Temple, Chandidevi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, and others. Don't miss the Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri after sunset, where the floating diyas create a mesmerizing atmosphere. Return to your hotel for the night. Haridwar, located at the foothills of the Shivalik range in Uttarakhand, is a sacred entry point for Hindus. The prince Bhagirath, through his penance, brought the river Ganga down to earth to free the souls of his ancestors. Here, devout Hindus seek salvation for their departed relatives. Known for its temples and ghats, Haridwar is a spiritual haven.Key Attractions:
- Har ki Pauri: An important ghat and the site of the Kumbh Mela, built by King Vikramaditya.
- Chandi Devi Temple: Located on Neel Parvat, accessible by a 3km trek or cable car.
- Mansa Devi Temple: Perched atop Bilwa Parvat, dedicated to Goddess Mansa, reachable by ropeway or on foot.
- Daksha Mahadev Temple: An ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Kankhal.
Day 02: Haridwar - Uttarkashi (200kms/5-6hr) HT: 1352 MTS
Post breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, visiting the Vishwanath Temple upon arrival. Check in to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay. Uttarkashi is home to numerous ashrams and temples, situated on the banks of the Ganges. It has a similar ambiance to Varanasi, with significant sites like Vishwanath Temple, a notable Shiva temple.Key Attractions:
- Vishwanath Temple: An ancient temple, renovated in 1857, with a trident at its entrance.
- Shakti Temple: Known for its massive trident, symbolizing Goddess Durga’s might.
Day 03: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100kms each way) HT: 3048 MTS
Early morning, we drive to Gangotri, stopping at Gangnani for a holy dip in Garam Kund. Enjoy the scenic Harsil Valley along the way. At Gangotri, take a dip in the Ganges, perform Pooja and relax. Return to Uttarkashi for the night.
Key Attractions:
- Gangotri Temple: Founded by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa.
- Submerged Shivling: A natural rock formation submerged in the river, visible in winter.
Day 04: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220kms/8-9hr) HT: 1319 MTS
Drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan, enjoying views of the Mandakini River along the way. Check in at the hotel and visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in the evening. Overnight stay.
Guptkashi, meaning "Hidden Benares," holds significant mythology connected to the Pandavas' search for Lord Shiva.
Day 05: Guptkashi - Kedarnath (30kms by road & 19kms Trek)
Rise early to drive to Sitapur/Sonprayag, then take a local jeep to Gaurikund. Trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (3584 mts) on pony/Doli. Visit Kedarnath Temple and stay overnight.
Kedarnath is one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, rich in legend related to the Pandavas.
Day 06: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19Kms Down Trek & 30kms/1hr by Road)
Early morning, attend the 'Abhishek' ceremony at Kedarnath Temple, then trek down to Gaurikund and return to Guptkashi. Overnight stay.
Day 07: Guptkashi - Badrinath (215kms/7hr) HT: 3133 MTS
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, check in at the hotel, and visit Badrinath Temple for the evening Aarti. Overnight stay.
Badrinath is one of the revered 'Four Dhams' and is situated between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges.
Day 08: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160kms) / Kirtinagar (200kms)
After visiting Badrinath Temple and significant spots around, drive back to Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar. Check in at the hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 09: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (140kms/4-5hr) / Kirtinagar – Rishikesh (110kms)
Drive to Rishikesh, a spiritual town known for its temples. Check in hotel, then visit the local attractions. Enjoy the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram in the evening. Overnight stay.
Day 10: Rishikesh - Haridwar - Delhi (250kms/7-8hr)
Drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfers to the Railway Station/Airport. Tour concludes.
