11 Days 10 Nights Chardham Yatra Tour Package

 

Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (230 kms/6-7hrs)  
Arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway Station. Meet and assist, then drive to Haridwar. Transfer to your hotel. If time permits, visit Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temples, and others. Attend the Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri, an enchanting ritual where lamps float on the river. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay. 
Haridwar, situated at the foothills of the Shivaliks, is a sacred gateway. Legend has it that Bhagirath, a Suryavanshi prince, performed penance here to bring the Ganga down to Earth to salvage his ancestors. Devout Hindus come to these waters to pray for their departed loved ones.
Har ki Pauri: Also known as Brahmakund, this ghat is the site of the Kumbh Mela, attracting numerous devotees. The evening aarti, with incense and floating diyas, creates a mesmerizing ambiance. King Vikramaditya built this sacred ghat in memory of his brother Bhatrihari.
Chandi Devi Temple: Perched on Neel Parvat, built in 1929 by the King of Kashmir, the temple can be accessed by a 3km trek or a cable car ride.
Mansa Devi Temple: This temple dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi can also be reached by ropeway, offering a panoramic view of Haridwar.
Daksha Mahadev Temple: This ancient temple is significant to Lord Shiva and is believed to be the site of Daksha's yagna.

 

Day 02: Haridwar - Barkot (210 kms/7-8hrs)  
Drive to Barkot via Mussoorie, stopping at Kempty Falls for lunch. Continue to Barkot and check into your hotel. Relax for the day to prepare for the Yamunotri trek. Overnight stay in Barkot.
Barkot offers stunning natural beauty and is a key stop on the Char Dham Pilgrimage route. The weather is pleasant in summer, with temperatures ranging from 25-30 °C.

 

Day 03: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (38 kms drive & 6 kms trek) 
In the early morning, drive to Jankichatti, where your trek to Yamunotri begins. The trek is through lush valleys and diverse flora.
At Yamunotri, cook rice as prasad in the hot springs and take a dip in Jamunabai Kund. After prayers and darshan, trek back and return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
Yamunotri, at the foot of Banderpunch, is the source of the river Yamuna and was built by Maharani Gularia in the 19th century.

 

Day 04: Barkot - Uttarkashi (90 kms/4hrs)  
Drive to Uttarkashi, visit Vishwanath Temple, and check in at your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Uttarkashi is known for its temples and ashrams, located along the Ganges. The Vishwanath Temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India, reconstructed in 1857.

 

Day 05: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 kms each side)  
Drive to Gangotri, with a holy dip in Garam Kund en route. At Gangotri, take a dip in the Ganges and perform pooja. Relax in the serene surroundings before returning to Uttarkashi for the night.
Gangotri Temple was built in the 18th century, and the submerged Shivling is where Lord Shiva is said to have received the Ganga.

 

Day 06: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (220 kms/8-9hrs)  
Travel to Guptkashi, enjoying a picturesque drive alongside the Mandakini River. Check in at the hotel and visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in the evening. Gupt Kashi is a significant pilgrimage site, known for its connection to the Pandavas and the Kedarnath shrine.

 

Day 07: Guptkashi – Phata Helipad - Kedarnath - Phata  
Drive to Phata, transfer to Kedarnath via helicopter. Visit the Kedarnath Temple before returning to Phata and then to Guptkashi for leisure time and an overnight stay. Kedarnath is one of the 12 jyotirlingas, set against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. According to legend, it is where Lord Shiva eluded the Pandavas after the Kurukshetra war.

 

Day 08: Guptkashi - Badrinath (215 kms/7hrs) 
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. After checking into the hotel, visit the Badrinath Temple for evening aarti. Badrinath is one of the Four Dhams and is framed by the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges. Tapt Kund is a natural spring where bathers purify themselves before entering the temple.

 

Day 09: Badrinath – Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar
Early morning, bathe in Tapt Kund and visit the temple. Explore nearby sites like Mana Village and the Vyas Gufa. Then, travel back to Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar and check into the hotel for the night.
Joshimath is historically significant as the winter seat of Badrinath.

 

Day 10: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (140 kms/4-5hrs)  
Drive to Rishikesh, a spiritual hub on the Ganges. After check-in, visit notable sites like Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, and attend Ganga Aarti in the evening.The Bharat Mandir and the stunning bridges over the Ganges add to Rishikesh’s charm.

 

Day 11: Rishikesh - Hardwar - Delhi (250 kms/7-8 hrs) 
Return to Delhi, concluding your tour. Transfer to the railway station or airport for departure.
