Day 1 – Arrival at Madurai & Transfer to Palani (160 km / 4 hrs)
Upon your arrival at Madurai, you will be welcomed and taken for a divine darshan at the world-famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, one of the most remarkable landmarks of Tamil Nadu. After completing the temple visit, you will proceed on a scenic drive of about 120 km (3.5 to 4 hrs) towards Palani, one of the holiest abodes of Lord Murugan. In the evening, you will enjoy darshan at Palani Murugan Temple situated on the hilltop, followed by an overnight stay at a premium hotel in Palani.
Day 2 – Palani ➝ Kodaikanal (65 km / 2 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your pleasant uphill drive of around 65 km (2 hrs) to the beautiful hill station of Kodaikanal, popularly known as the “Princess of Hill Stations.” On arrival, you will visit Kodai Lake for a peaceful boating experience, followed by a walk along the breathtaking Coaker’s Walk, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the valley. The evening is free for leisure and exploring the cool mountain air. An overnight stay will be arranged at a luxury resort in Kodaikanal.
Day 3 – Kodaikanal ➝ Thiruchendur (260 km / 6 hrs)
This morning, after breakfast, you will begin a long yet fulfilling journey of around 260 km (6 hrs) driving down from the hills towards the coastal town of Thiruchendur. In the evening, you will reach the sacred Thiruchendur Murugan Temple, located right by the sea, and witness a mesmerizing sunset darshan experience. Later, transfer to Tuticorin (just 40 km / 1 hr away) for a comfortable overnight stay at a beachside resort, where you can relax by the shore.
Day 4 – Tuticorin ➝ Madurai (150 km / 3.5 hrs) – Departure
After a relaxed morning beach walk and breakfast, check out and drive back to Madurai, which is about 150 km (3.5 hrs). On arrival, you will be dropped at the Madurai Airport for your onward journey with divine blessings and wonderful memories of temples, hill stations, and beaches.
