Day 1: Transfer From Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) – Borobudur - Maliboro (L)
Welcome to Jogja.
Upon arrival at YIA Kulonprogo, you will meet our friendly guide.
We will head directly to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Afterward, we’ll visit the iconic Borobudur temple, the largest Buddhist temple in the world. (Our package includes the entrance ticket to the Borobudur temple up to the courtyard; please note that there is an additional charge of RM 100/pax to climb to the top of the temple, and availability for this option depends on ticket reservations.) We’ll wrap up the day by shopping at the Beringharjo traditional market and Malioboro Street.
These connected shopping areas offer a variety of batik, traditional snacks, Javanese herbs, rattan ornaments, handicrafts, and much more. Finally, you will be transferred to check into your hotel.
Day 2: City Tour – Kotaged Prambanan (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will embark on a city tour starting with the “Kraton,” the magnificent royal palace of the Sultan.
The tour continues to Taman Sari water castle, followed by a traditional batik home industry visit.
We will then head to Kotagede, where you can witness a century-old tradition practiced by local silver craftsmen.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Post-lunch, we’ll explore Prambanan's majestic Hindu temple complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After a full day of sightseeing, dinner will be served.
Day 3: DEPARTURE YOGYAKARTA International Airport (YIA) (B)
After breakfast, you’ll have some free time before being transferred back to YIA Kulonprogo for your departure.
