Day 01 – Chennai → Kanchipuram (75 km / 2 hrs)(No meal)
On arrival at Chennai Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and driven to Kanchipuram, which is about 75 kilometers away and takes around 2 hours by road. Known as the “City of Thousand Temples” and the “Silk City of India,” Kanchipuram offers a perfect blend of spirituality and tradition. After check-in, you will begin your temple visits with darshan at the most famous shrines such as Kamakshi Amman Temple, Ekambareswarar Temple, Kailasanathar Temple, and Varadharaja Perumal Temple. In the evening, you will explore the world-renowned silk saree weaving centers where you can witness skilled artisans at work and shop for authentic Kanchipuram silk sarees directly from traditional weavers. Overnight stay will be in Kanchipuram.
 
Day 02 – Kanchipuram (Local Shopping & Weaving Tour)(B)
After breakfast, you will spend the entire day in Kanchipuram, dedicated to shopping and exploring the art of silk weaving. You will visit handloom clusters and weaving units where you can watch the intricate process of how pure mulberry silk threads are transformed into vibrant Kanchipuram silk sarees. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with the artisans, learn about their heritage craft, and shop from factory outlets and showrooms offering a wide variety of designs. The rest of the day can be enjoyed at leisure, with optional evening temple visits or another round of shopping. Overnight stay will be in Kanchipuram.
 
Day 03 – Kanchipuram → Mahabalipuram (70 km / 2 hrs)(B)
After breakfast, you will check out and proceed towards Mahabalipuram, which is about 70 kilometers away and takes nearly 2 hours to reach. Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is renowned for its rock-cut temples and monuments. Here you will visit the stunning Shore Temple overlooking the Bay of Bengal, the massive open-air rock relief Arjuna’s Penance, the fascinating Pancha Rathas monolithic structures, and the famous Krishna’s Butterball balancing rock. Along with sightseeing, you can also enjoy shopping for stone carvings, handicrafts, and souvenirs that reflect the artistic traditions of Tamil Nadu. In the evening, unwind by the beach and immerse yourself in the coastal charm of Mahabalipuram before spending the night there.
 
Day 04 – Mahabalipuram → Chennai (60 km / 1.5 hrs)(B)
On the final day, after breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Chennai, which is about 60 kilometers and takes one and a half hours. Once in Chennai, you will have time for last-minute shopping at T. Nagar, the city’s most popular shopping hub, well known for silk sarees, jewellery, and handicrafts. If time permits, you may also take a short visit to Marina Beach or Kapaleeswarar Temple. Later, you will be transferred to Chennai Airport  for your departure, concluding your memorable Kanchipuram Silk Shopping and Temple Tour with unforgettable spiritual blessings and treasures of authentic handloom sarees.
