5 Days 4 Nights Badrinath Yatra Tour Package
Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (230 kms/5-6hrs)
Arrival at Delhi Airport or Delhi Railway Station, where you will meet and be assisted for your drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Haridwar, nestled at the foothills of the Shivaliks, is significant in Hindu mythology. It's here that the Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed penance to bring the Ganga down from the heavens, allowing for the salvation of his ancestors. Many pilgrims gather in this sacred water to pray for the souls of their departed loved ones. Har ki Pauri, known for its divine significance, is the site of the Kumbh Mela, attracting thousands who seek a holy dip in the Ganga. The evening Aarti here, with glowing diyas floating down the river, creates a breathtaking atmosphere.
Chandi Devi Temple can be accessed via a 3km trek or a cable car, and it boasts a history dating back to the 8th century, believed to have been established by Adi Shankaracharya.
Mansa Devi Temple sits atop Bilwa Parvat, with stunning views and an image of Mansa Devi that features multiple arms.
