Day 1: Arrive in Madurai
Upon arrival at Madurai Railway Station or Airport, our tour representatives will greet you and help you get to your hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, freshen up and relax in your room for a while. Later in the day, head out to explore the city of Madurai. Start off with Meenakshi Amman Temple, built to celebrate the union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Proceed to visit the Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, constructed during the Pandya empire in the 8th century. Next, you will be taken to the Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, built by King Tirumala Nayaka in 1636. Finish off the day by visiting the Gandhi Memorial Museum and Alagar Kovil.
Day 2: Madurai - Rameshwaram
In the morning, check out of your hotel in Madurai and journey towards Rameshwaram. After completing the check-in process at your hotel, freshen up and head out to explore the many holy places in Rameshwaram.
Your first stop will be the Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple, known for its towers, corridors, and intricate details, making it one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Then, visit Agnitheertham, located on the eastern beach corner of the temple. Other important sites to explore include Dhanushkodi, Ramar Padam, and Adam's Bridge.
Day 3: Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari
Check out from your hotel after breakfast and you will be driven to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India and a significant pilgrimage center. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and freshen up to explore popular tourist spots.
You will visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, built in honor of Swami Vivekananda, and offer prayers at the Kumari Amman Temple, one of the 108 Shakti Peethas housing a Goddess Devi Kanya Kumari statue. Other must-see attractions include Suchindram Temple, Gandhi Mandapam, and Triveni Sangamam.
Day 4: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum - Depart Trivandrum
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before departing from Kanyakumari to Trivandrum. Upon your arrival in Kerala’s capital city, explore its various attractions, including Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Padmanabhapuram Palace, the Government Secretariat, and the Museum of History and Heritage. Later in the day, depart for the airport or railway station to return to your hometown.
Day 5: Trivandrum Excursion
On your final day, after breakfast, take some time to relax or shop for souvenirs in Trivandrum. Consider visiting the enchanting Kovalam Beach. Spend your day enjoying the sun, sand, and sea, or indulge in Ayurvedic spa treatments available at various resorts along the coast. If time permits, explore the nearby Vellayani Lake or visit the local crafts market for unique handicrafts before heading to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
