8 Days 7 Nights Badhri Kedhar Yatra Tour Package
 
Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (230 kms/5-6hrs)
Arrival at Delhi Airport or Delhi Railway Station. Meet & assist, followed by a drive to Haridwar. Transfer to your hotel. If time permits, visit Mansadevi Temple, Chandidevi Temple, and Daksha Mahadev Temple. Later, witness the Ganga Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri, a poignant ritual where lamps are floated on the Ganges. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay. Haridwar, nestled at the foot of the Shivalik hills, is a significant pilgrimage site. Legendary Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed penance here to bring the Ganga to earth for the salvation of his ancestors. Pilgrims believe that bathing in these sacred waters ensures the redemption of the souls of their departed loved ones. Weather: Generally hot in summer (35-40°C); pleasantly cool days and cold nights in winter (20-5°C).
 
Day 02: Haridwar - Guptkashi (210kms/7-8hr)
After breakfast, drive straight to Guptkashi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel. Guptkashi, or "Hidden Benares," is steeped in mythology. It is said that Lord Shiva concealed himself here from the Pandavas, only to move on to Kedarnath. Guptkashi also houses the hereditary priests for Kedarnath during the winters. Weather: Pleasant in summer (25-30°C); cold in winter.
 
Day 03: Guptkashi - Kedarnath (30kms by road & 19kms Trek)
Early morning drive to Sitapur/Sonprayag, then transfer to Gaurikund (local jeep at own cost). The trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath begins at 3584 mts. Participants should bring personal medicines, warm clothing, and toiletries for an overnight stay at Kedarnath. Visit Kedarnath Temple. Overnight stay. The Kedarnath shrine is one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, located against the magnificent Kedarnath range. According to legend, the Pandavas sought Shiva's blessings here after the Kurukshetra war, leading to witnessing his manifestation at various shrines.
 
Day 04: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19Kms Down Trek & 30kms/1hr by Road)
Awaken before dawn for a bath, then reach the temple by 4:45 am for the 'Abhishek' of Kedarnath Shiva. After Darshan, trek down to Gaurikund and return to Sonprayag (local jeep at own cost). Drive back to Guptkashi and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
 
Day 05: Guptkashi - Badrinath (210kms/7-8hr)
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath and check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay.
Badrinath is one of the 'Four Dhams', situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, surrounded by the Nar and Narayan ranges. Tapt Kund and Narad Kund are noteworthy spots in the area, alongside the serene Charanpaduka meadow and the sacred Mata Murty Temple.
 
Day 06: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160kms) / Kirtinagar (200kms)
Participants will bathe in the Tapt Kund before visiting the Badrivishal for Darshan. Explore nearby sites like Mana, Vyas Gufa, and Bhimkund. Later, return to Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar via Joshimath and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay.
 
Day 07: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (140kms/4-5hr) / Kirtinagar – Rishikesh (110kms/3-4hr)
Drive to Rishikesh, famed for its spiritual ambiance along the Ganges and the backdrop of the Himalayas. Check in at your hotel and visit significant sites like Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, and Bharat Mandir. In the evening, enjoy Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram. Overnight stay.
 
Day 08: Rishikesh - Haridwar - Delhi (250kms/6-7hr)
Drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the railway station or airport. Tour concludes.
