Day 1: Sat 25 Oct – Arrival in Trichy (No Meal)
Arrive at Trichy Airport and proceed for darshan at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam (10 km / 30 mins) and the Ucchi Pillayar Temple at Rockfort (5 km / 20 mins). In the evening, enjoy some leisure time or shopping at Chinna Kadai Street before checking in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Trichy.
Day 2: Sun 26 Oct – Trichy to Madurai (140 km / 3 hrs) (B)
After breakfast, drive to Madurai, known as the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu. Upon arrival, visit the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple, explore the magnificent Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal, and, if time permits, stop at the Gandhi Museum. In the evening, witness the beautiful Aarti ceremony at Meenakshi Temple. Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 3: Mon 27 Oct – Madurai to Rameswaram (170 km / 4 hrs) (B)
After breakfast, depart for Rameswaram, crossing the iconic Pamban Bridge along the way. Upon arrival, visit the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and take part in the holy bath at the 22 theerthams. Continue to Pamban Bridge viewpoint for photos and visit the Kothandaramaswamy Temple, which is deeply connected to the Ramayana. Spend the evening relaxing by the seashore. Overnight stay at Rameswaram.
Day 4: Tue 28 Oct – Rameswaram to Dhanushkodi Excursion and back (20 km / 1 hr one way) (B)
After breakfast, enjoy a short excursion to Dhanushkodi, the abandoned “Ghost Town” where the Bay of Bengal meets the Indian Ocean. Visit the ruined church, the old railway station, and the Ram Setu (Adam’s Bridge) viewpoint. Return to Rameswaram in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Rameswaram.
Day 5: Wed 29 Oct – Rameswaram to Trichy Departure (270 km / 6 hrs) (B)
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Trichy (270 km / 6 hrs). On arrival, you will be dropped off at Trichy Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of a memorable trip.
