12 Days 11 Nights Chardham Yatra Tour Package

 

Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (230 kms/5-6hrs)  
Arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway Station, meet and assist, and drive to Haridwar. Transfer to your hotel. If time allows, visit Mansadevi Temple, Chandidevi Temple, and Daksha Mahadev Temple, along with Har-ki-Pauri, for the evening Ganga Aarti. This moving ritual involves worshipping the Ganga after sunset with floating diyas. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.  
Haridwar, situated at the feet of Shivalik hills in Uttaranchal Pradesh, is rich in Hindu mythology, being the site where Bhagirath brought the river Ganga to earth to save his ancestors. It is a spiritual gateway to the Himalayas and the sacred rivers.

 

Day 02: Haridwar - Barkot (210kms/7-8hr)  
Drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. En route, visit Kempty Fall (enjoy lunch here as options are limited ahead). Continue to Barkot, check into your hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure, resting for the journey to Yamunotri the next day. Overnight at Barkot, which offers scenic views of apple orchards and the Bandar Poonch mountains.  
Summer weather is generally pleasant with temperatures ranging from 25-30°C.

 

Day 03: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (38kms drive & 6kms Trek)  
Early morning, drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti to begin your trek to Yamunotri (6kms). You can opt to walk, or hire a horse or doli at your own cost. In Yamunotri, you can cook rice in hot kund water and offer it as 'Prasad'. After bathing in Jamunabai Kund and performing your puja, trek back to Jankichatti and return to Barkot for an overnight stay.  
Yamunotri, the source of the river Yamuna, is nestled in the majestic backdrop of Banderpunch. 

 

Day 04: Barkot - Uttarkashi (90kms/4hr)  
Drive to Uttarkashi and visit Vishwanath Temple. Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Uttarkashi is home to several important ashrams and temples situated on the banks of the Ganges and is often referred to as 'Saumya Varanasi'.  
The weather in summer can be hot, with temperatures ranging from 30-35°C.

 

Day 05: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100kms/3-4 each side)  
Drive to Gangotri early in the morning. Take a holy dip at Gangnani's Garam Kund and continue to Gangotri through the beautiful Harsil Valley. Upon arrival, take a dip in the sacred river and perform your pooja before relaxing in the serene surroundings. Return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay. Gangotri Temple, built in the 18th century, is a major pilgrimage site for devotees of the Ganges.

 

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220kms/8-9hr)  
Drive straight to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgoan. En route, enjoy views of the Mandakini River. Upon arrival in Guptkashi, check into your hotel and visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.  Guptkashi is considered "Hidden Benares" and serves as a base for pilgrims visiting Kedarnath.

 

Day 07: Guptkashi - Kedarnath (30kms by road & 19kms Trek) 
Early morning, drive to Sitapur/Sonprayag and transfer to Gaurikund (by local jeep at your own cost). Trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (3584 mts) by pony or doli. Carry personal essentials for an overnight halt. Visit the Kedarnath Temple and stay overnight.  
Kedarnath is known for its scenic beauty and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

 

Day 08: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19 Kms Down Trek & 30 Kms/1 hr by Road) Wake up early for the ‘Abhishek’ ceremony at Kedarnath Temple at 4:45 am. After the darshan, trek down to Gaurikund and return to Guptkashi. Check into your hotel for overnight accommodation.

 

Day 09: Guptkashi - Badrinath (215kms/7hr)  
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, check into your hotel, and visit Badrinath Temple for the evening Aarti. Overnight stay at Badrinath.  Badrinath is one of the sacred ‘Four Dhams’ and is set against the stunning backdrop of the Nar & Narayan mountains.

 

Day 10: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160kms) / Kirtinagar (200kms)  
After taking a dip at Taptkund, perform rites at Brahma Kapal. Explore nearby sights like Mana village and Vyas Gufa. Later, drive back to Rudraprayag/Kirtinagar via Joshimath and check into your hotel for the night.

 

Day 11: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (140kms/4-5hr) / Kirtinagar – Rishikesh (110kms)  
Drive to Rishikesh, a spiritual town surrounded by the Shivalik range. After checking into your hotel, visit local temples and attractions like Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. In the evening, attend Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

 

Day 12: Rishikesh - Hardwar - Delhi (250kms/6-7hr)  
Drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the Railway Station/Airport. Tour terminates.
