5D4N TAMIL NADU TOUR PACKAGE
IN TRICHY OUT CHENNAI
Day 1: Stay in Trichy (No meal)
Arrival at Trichy. On your arrival at Trichy late in the evening or night, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Trichy to Madurai to Thiruchendur and back to Madurai (480 km / 10 hrs travel)
In the early morning, drive from Trichy to Madurai, which is approximately 140 km away and takes around 3 hours. From Madurai, continue your journey to Thiruchendur, which is approximately 170 km away and takes 3.5 hours to reach. After having darshan at the famous Thiruchendur Murugan Temple, return to Madurai, covering another 170 km in about 3.5 hours. In the evening, you may visit the Meenakshi Amman Temple and Tirupparankundram if time permits, followed by an overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 3: Madurai to Thiruvannamalai (350 km / 7 hrs travel)
After breakfast, begin the long drive from Madurai to Thiruvannamalai, which is about 350 km and takes approximately 7 hours via Trichy and Villupuram. In the evening, visit the Arunachaleswarar Temple for darshan and spend the night in Thiruvannamalai.
Day 4: Thiruvannamalai Girivalam and drive to Kanchipuram (130 km / 3.5 hrs travel)
Early in the morning, perform Girivalam around Arunachala Hill, a 14 km walk that takes about 3 to 4 hours. After rest and breakfast, drive from Thiruvannamalai to Kanchipuram, which is 130 km and takes around 3.5 hours. On arrival, visit the Ekambareswarar Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, and Varadaraja Perumal Temple, followed by shopping for the famous Kanchipuram silk sarees. Overnight stay in Kanchipuram.
Day 5: Kanchipuram to Chennai (75 km / 2 hrs travel)
In the morning, drive from Kanchipuram to Chennai, which is around 75 km and takes just 2 hours via Sriperumbudur. Upon reaching Chennai, you will be dropped off at the airport or railway station for your departure.
