Day 1 -Arrival in Chennai – Drive to Thiruvannamalai (195 km / approx. 5 hrs) (No Meal)
Upon arrival at Chennai International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and driven towards Thiruvannamalai, a renowned spiritual center of South India. The drive will take around 5 hours, covering nearly 195 km. After reaching Thiruvannamalai, check into your hotel and take some rest. In the evening, visit the famous Arunachaleswarar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, for a peaceful darshan and preparation for the sacred Girivalam on the auspicious Shivaratri night. Overnight stay in Thiruvannamalai.
Day 2 – Girivalam in Thiruvannamalai – Shivaratri Full Moon (B)
After breakfast, spend the day soaking in the spiritual vibrations of Thiruvannamalai by visiting holy places such as the Ramana Maharshi Ashram, Seshadri Swamigal Ashram, and Yogi Ram Suratkumar Ashram, each offering unique insights into saints who lived here. In the evening, join thousands of devotees in performing the sacred 14 km Girivalam (circumambulation) around the holy Arunachala Hill under the divine full moon night of Shivaratri, which is considered extremely powerful and auspicious. Overnight stay at Thiruvannamalai.
Day 3 – Thiruvannamalai – Rameshwaram (400 km / approx. 7.5 hrs) (B)
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on a long but spiritually significant journey to Rameshwaram, located at a distance of around 400 km, which will take approximately 7.5 hours by road. Arrive in the evening and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for rest after the long drive. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.
Day 4 – Rameshwaram Temple Darshan (B)
Early morning, take a holy dip at Agni Theertham, situated on the seashore near the temple. Later, proceed for darshan at the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines of Lord Shiva, famous for its long corridors and spiritual significance. Post darshan, visit Dhanushkodi, the mystical town at the southern tip, and also Ramar Padham, believed to bear the footprint of Lord Rama. Return to the hotel and stay overnight at Rameshwaram.
Day 5 – Rameshwaram – Palani (320 km / approx. 6.5 hrs) (B)
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Palani, a journey of around 320 km taking approximately 6.5 hours. Upon arrival, visit the highly revered Palani Murugan Temple, one of the Arupadai Veedu (Six Abodes of Lord Murugan). Within the temple complex, also pay homage at the Boghar Siddhar Shrine, associated with ancient siddha traditions. Overnight stay at Palani.
Day 6 – Palani – Coimbatore (Isha Yoga Centre) (140 km / approx. 3 hrs) (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to Coimbatore, which is about 140 km away and takes nearly 3 hours to reach. Upon arrival, visit the world-renowned Isha Yoga Centre, where you will experience the serene energy of the 112 ft tall Adiyogi Statue, the Dhyanalinga meditation space, and the Theerthakund sacred water pool. Spend your time in meditation and spiritual rejuvenation in this peaceful environment. Overnight stay in Coimbatore.
Day 7 – Coimbatore – (230 km / approx. 4.5 hrs) (B)
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Trichy, covering a distance of around 230 km, which will take approximately 4.5 hours. En route, visit a Sai Baba Temple for darshan. On arrival in Trichy, if time permits, visit the grand Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam or the Samayapuram Mariamman Temple, both highly revered temples. Overnight stay in Trichy.
Day 8 – Departure from Trichy (B)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Ucchi Pillayar Temple (Rockfort Temple) and, if time allows, another darshan at Samayapuram Mariamman Temple before being dropped at Trichy International Airport for your onward flight. This marks the conclusion of a soul-stirring spiritual journey across Tamil Nadu.
